Exactly what I was hoping for

It does what it says. It can be transparent and not affect your tone, but still round everything out and give you that nice compression feel, while still giving you a couple of knobs to play with to tweak your tone a bit if you desire. I am currently keeping the compression all the way up, and with a skosh of clarity to give my clean tones just enough edge. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Excellent compressor! You will definitely hear all of your mistakes, so it takes a bit of practice. But! It does what it does very well.
