This thing is just remarkable

I wanted to have an external pedal outside of my HX stomp. As the comps in the Helix world are very good. It still frees up a block of DSP for another effect. This clarity comp takes a bit of dialing in but once you find where it sits well, it will be your always on pedall.

A sleeper hit

When I first added this pedal to my chain, I was somewhat underwhelmed. In comparison to the Precision Drive, this pedal didn’t seem to have a bold and dramatic effect on my overall tone. It did add some brightness and clarity overall but where this particular pedal really shines is hard to describe. It really breathes life into the “feel” of your sound. Now that I’ve had some time with it, it truly is the “always on” effect that it claims to be. Would highly recommend it especially if you are playing in low tunings.
