Best overdrive for modern metal

Got a second-hand one on Reverb. Best overdrive for modern metal. Compared to fake DemonFx one - Horizon sounds way more clear and focused. Gate works flawlessly! This is a sound I've looking for. Отличная грелка!

Modern metal essential

Does what it was designed to. Great tube screamer based overdrive with tons of boost available. I haven't explored drive much yet but attack and bright allow for a wide array of tone shaping applications from standard 6 string to low tunings and extended range guitars which I have a variety of. I'll always make use of this pedal but I wouldn't say it makes classic tube screamers and overdrives obsolete as they still have their own color for certain applications and tastes. I would definitely recommend for extended range guitars, especially 8 string.
