Great picks

I wanted to try the very thick picks as they seem to be a fad amongst other pick companies nowadays and the Horizon 3.0 did not disappoint. I can see myself using it on occasion for a specific sound, but I believe I prefer the 1.5 size overall!

I own every type and variety of Jazz 3 and J3-adjacent pick from Jim Dunlop. These blue boys are unique and in a class of their own. They're almost like those old school bluegrass picks (play using a closed right-hand and you'll channel your inner Tony Rice). They take some getting used to but they are quite precise and comfortable. They probably won't be my go-to pick for versatility, but for technical passages and tough rhythms, they are djentle enough yet aggressive enough to get the damn thing done.
