My new go-to strings for 6 and 7

I use the standard 6 for my Ibanez tuned in drop Db and the standard 7s for my 7-strint in drop A and they are just perfect. The low string is thick enough to lay down the chug but still light enough to be bendy smooth. The balance of the rest of the strings is just ideal and they have a long life. I used to use D'Addario NYXL but these outperform them noticeably.

Buttery Smooth

These strings feel absolutely fantastic. I mainly play black metal, which entails a lot of tremolo picked leads and minor barre chords, and I find with this set that playing requires little to no effort from either hand, as if they just play themselves. I also found they fixed my problem I have with nine gauge strings by bumping the .011 to a .012 so that they balance out perfectly with the E and G strings, and the .042 to a .047 for extra tension when doing rhythm stuff or for drop D stuff.

The Best

Don't even bother with any other strings. The balanced tension makes them so easy to setup any guitar. I tried some 9 daddario's the other day, and instantly took them off, because of all the extra tension my bridge was taking for no necessary reason at all. They tune up quick also. Remember that these are in partner with dunlop.

Threw them on an old Washburn 6-string. They feel so smooth!
